So, could there be other princesses and even possibly princes in someplace other than equestria?

Royalty exists in many many places, and of many species and genders. This is fact.

Do any ponies suffer from mental disorders such as Schizophrenia or Dementia? If so how is it treated?
Anonymous

Ponies unfortunately do suffer from mental and physical debilitations. However healing magic is not a end all solve all cure, and often these ponies must undergo lengthy and even life time spanning recoveries. It is an pitiable truth, one even I cannot lessen for my little ponies.

Awwww yeah ponies.

Yep, ponies~

Princess Celestia, I hope you don't mind me asking...but how and why does your mane blow so gracefully in the wind so easily? It's simply beautiful! ○

Well, my mane is a physical manifestation of my growth and magic. It moves as it does, due to its magical composition. However it can just as easily be rendered to act as a true mane, to be groomed and the like.

Do you ever read to children in schools, or do any special community service (besides the exquisite job your doing now)? Also, does it get tiresome with all the groveling and bowing? I know it would bother me!

I certainly do take the time out to tend to the youngest of our herd, and I am not afraid to get my hooves dirty either. As for all the groveling and bowing? Certainly. I go out of my way to be as easy to approach as possible. It just seems to be something I cannot escape. I understand a need to respect, especially in formal matters. But if I’m just taking a stroll. Please. Its just Celestia~ I promise I won’t send you to the moon.

Dear Princess Celestia, this is just a fair amount of curiosity, but have humans ever been spotted anywhere in Equestria?

Humans? Well my little ponies seem not to know of them. And they certainly don’t exist in our world. However, with my magic I have seen and spoken to those called humans in other realms and worlds.

Has there been any major accidents/wars/fights/disagreements in Equestrian history? If there was, would you change what happened?

There have been quite a few, in fact before I ever took reign the very three species of pony were at a constant war. However, hardship leads to growth. Without a reason to improve, no pony would. Think for a moment about your personality, why you act the way you do. Then imagine living in a world where nothing ever happened. Who would you be? Why would you have any reason to be different from anyone else? Ah forgive me. I seem to have gone on a tangent. Let me properly answer your question. I regret hardship, but I would never undo it. We would be nothing but empty shells without a reason to strive for something.

Anu Bhagwati, a former company commander in the Marines and executive director of Service Women’s Action Network, a veterans advocacy group, says she sees a pattern of the military using psychiatric diagnoses to get rid of women who report sexual assaults.

“It’s convenient to sweep this under the rug. It’s also extremely convenient to slap a false diagnosis on a young woman … and then just get rid of them so you don’t have to deal with that problem in your unit. And, unfortunately, a lot of sexual assault survivors are considered problems,” Bhagwati says.

From 2001 to 2010, the military discharged more than 31,000 service members because of personality disorder, according to documents obtained under a Freedom of Information Act request by the Vietnam Veterans of America.

Asked by CNN how many of these cases involved sexual assault cases, the Defense Department says it does not keep such figures, nor would the Pentagon comment on individual cases…

Dr. Liza H. Gold, a clinical professor of psychiatry at Georgetown University School of Medicine, says it’s a rule of thumb among psychiatrists not to diagnose someone with a personality disorder in the middle of a traumatic experience like a divorce, litigation or the aftermath of a sexual assault…

In the military’s eyes, a personality disorder diagnosis is a pre-existing condition and does not constitute a service-related disability. That means sexual assault victims with personality disorder discharges don’t receive benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs to help with their trauma. They can still apply for benefits, but it’s considered an uphill battle.

There are other costs. For example, members of the armed forces who receive a personality disorder discharge lose education benefits under the GI Bill.

Moore, now 32 and married, says the Army came after her for $2,800 of the enlistment bonus she received when she signed up for six years. With interest and penalties, the bill topped $6,000. Moore says she’s still paying it off.

The politicians using troops in their campaigns should step up and demand accountability from the military leadership. The fact that these women have to deal with  the aftermath of their assault is horrible enough, but the fact that they have their benefits revoked and have to pay the government money is just beyond the pale.

If you were to take a vacation where would you go? Who would you bring?
Anonymous

A curious question, I suppose if I went on vacation and did not bring dearest Luna with me. I would offer the element holders passage to enjoy themselves at my side. As to where I would go? Ah that is something I would have to deliberate on, ask me again in a week and I might have a fair answer for you my little pony.

Do you ever spend time with your subjects? Like play games or get to know any of them better?

In fact I do. I try to spend some time every month simply partaking of the lands, enjoying a treat, a game of chess with an unexpected elder perhaps. It is a bit daunting always having to be attended by the guard, so I certainly take time to myself now and then and assuredly include my little ponies in these endeavors.
